Believe it or not, I'm so sick of doing past year exam questions that I'm restorting to Neopets. The games in particular. I want to get my old account back but I can't at the moment. They asked for my birthday at the login page and smart me during sec one put some fake birthdate which I have forgotten by now. I miss my faerie Poogle =( I went through alot of effort to get a Poogle (which was a rare pet at that time, not sure about now though) and after that "painted" it into a faerie Poogle. Ah well, I started on a new account and hopefully I'd be able to transfer my neopoints into the old account when I get it back.
I had a weird dream on Saturday night or Sunday morning. I dreamt that I was with Charlyn and I was buying a black MacBook. *squeals* But apparently, that black notebook was super cheap (S$1473) and it was big, fat, bulky and ugly =( I was asking the computer shop guy how come it didn't look like a Mac notebook and he said that it was the newest version with extra features that was why it looked so BIG. It looked like an antique laptop, I tell you. Haha. Must be that Charlyn's psycho-ing about her Mac which led to that dream. But anyway, told dad that I wanted a Mac *hinthint* Haha. He didn't agree, of course. But he didn't disagree either. But hey, if I can get a NORMAL Mac Notebook for S$1473, I would grab it for sure. Fat hope.
Well, what day is it today?
Monday lor. So?
What so. It's M-O-N-D-A-Y!
Eh? Siao ah, so excited about Monday.
I'm going home THIS WEEK la! Finally can say I'm going home this week. Not next week, not next month. THIS WEEK.
Sorry, that was random. Haha. Was talking to myself, as usual.
One and a half more days of studying and time to burn all my notes! Create a bonfire! Hmm, this reminds me of some Chinese history where Qin Shi Huang wanted to burn all the books or something. Haha. Maybe it'll be nice to live during that time so that I won't have any exams and I won't care if he burnt my books. Heh. Okay what rubbish.
Anyway, a gunman is on the loose somewhere out there. Sounds so CSI. Haha. Oh well, a life was claimed and many injured. What the hell was he thinking?! But I'm not surprised though. Gunshots are common on random nights. All six bullets. Except this particular incident happened in the CBD. Probably the random ones I heard from the street behind were just shot for fun, not intending to kill anyone. I remembered walking home one night last year when I heard a gunshot, or something that sounded like that. Thank goodness I was already near the main entrance and when I went in, the security guard asked me if I heard anything. It sounded rather near. Not exciting though, I didn't get shot. Haha. Just kidding.
Going to the library tomorrow to mug again. Ugh. The only thing that's motivating me now is my flight on Friday afternoon...and Neopets. HAHA.
fourmoredays
Cold, winter's morning. I just want to hide under my doona and sleep forever. I'm kind of getting used to the cold, I think. I really hope that Singapore wouldn't be blistering hothothot! If not you'll see me perspiring like a pig everyday. Hahaha.
The studying pace has been slow so far. The exam is still a week away! But I better not speak too soon cos the week is going to go by in a flash (: It's pretty cool having the week going by so fast cos the 22nd seems so much nearer than ever before! Haha.
Anyway, I like going to Safeway. I love buying groceries (: If I'm not occupied with something else, I'll never miss a chance to go to NTUC. It's fun looking at the rows and rows of shelves even though I know I wouldn't be buying anything much. Maybe I just want to spend some money =/ and groceries are the trick. Cos I'm not buying things which I don't need. I'm buying things that I'm gonna consume and live on! Haha. Excuses.
I want to go on a holiday! And after reading Alycia and Alyson's blogs, it made me want to go even more! Haha. There are so many place yet to be explored. Oh, and I don't count being in Melbourne as a holiday cos I'm not having fun studying my butt off. Haha. My perfect holiday is somewhere I can relax, have fun, and everything is within reach. Within reach, I mean near places where there's food. Not the outback where I have to pitch a tent, live with rodents on the barren ground, and cook my food over a campfire. Heh. It'll be an experience, but nah, I'll still stick to city life (:
I need to make a mental reminder that there's driving on Friday. I'm NOT going to miss it again! He'll definitely kill me for sure. Haha. I did make a physical note in my diary but I hardly refer to it cos there's no school. So I'm relying on you, Brain. Make sure you don't forget.
tenmoredays woohoo! I can't wait to see you!
I did something really stupid today. I thought it was Thursday. Dang. So I simply forgot all about my driving lesson. How stupid can I get. But El's nice as usual and said that he'll give me half and hour extra for my next lesson. And that made me feel even worse cos he didn't have to give me that extra time and still charge me for the lesson that I simply forgot. Had the econs paper yesterday damaged my brain cells in some way?!
But one good thing is that the crazy week is over! Now the last thing to be cancelled off that list is Introductory Econometrics exam on the 20th of June. Yayness. Micro exam was alright. But I did crap my way through some of the questions as usual. Haha. I hope they make sense. I wrote till my hand nearly fell apart. Sigh. The two hours passed way too fast. How come I don't remember exams passing by so quickly during secondary school? Hmm. Maybe it's because I didn't study and there was nothing to write, especially for those literature, geography and social studies essays.
Anyhoo, I found out that a super bo liao person has been reading my blog and as a result, doing bo liao things. Shan't go into details. But I have no idea what the person is trying to do. So I shall leave it as it is and rest my case.
fourteenmoredays
Stole this from Sumin's blog. It's quite cool (:
Ahh! June is here! *hides in a corner* My 2500 essay is due in less than two days and I have loads of lectures waiting for me to go through. Crikeys. Swot Vac passed by in a whoosh! Can I have another week of Swot Vac, please? Can't believe next week is the first week of exams. Thursday - Dooms Day. I think I'm going to fail Intermediate Micro.
On another note, Newline went well yesterday (: YAY! Nothing major happened and the half hour slot didn't even feel like half hour. Haha. Charlyn and I didn't stay for the drinks after that though cos we had to go home to plough through our 2500. Sigh. I need a break from Melbourne Uni.
But I'm looking forward to going homeee! (: Can't wait, like seriously. A few more weeks and that's it! End of semesteroneohseven.
Sigh. countingdownthedays
Last day of semester, (: and ): Haha. (: cos I'm one more day closer to going back home! And of course, no more having to drag myself to uni. ): cos I don't think I have enough time to finish my assignments and study for the exams! I'm so dead. Four more important items left on the agenda list and the first three are all due in the first week of June. Sigh.
Anyway, today was a hectic but fun last day! Had driving at 930. Rushed there, but he was late. Haha. Well, I'll just take it as a brisk morning walk. Then rushed to the Architecture Building for some interview session. Frankly speaking, I wasn't in any mood for an interview but I tried my best, I hope. But I got my money! Haha. It ran overtime and so I rushed downstairs to the post office to get a stamp from my self-addressed envelope. Rushed to Micro lecture after that. Then I rushed to the library to print my Feature Story and rushed to John Medley to put it down the assignment chute. Yay! I'm so glad it's over. No more interviews left for this semester. Then I rushed to meet Charlyn and we rushed to RMIT. Look at the number of times I typed "rushed". Lol. Yes, I was literally rushing around the whole day. Tired, tired.
But I glad I didn't fall asleep during Newsline just now or Nicole would have killed me or something. Haha. But production was fun today (: The real thing is better than the rehearsals, I reckon. Just that the stress level was really high, especially for Nicole. And the worst of all, the computer had to break down 10 minutes before we went on air! Pfftt. Yeah, Nicole being the Director was going hysterical =S I think being in that small room was pressurising whether or not we're doing anything. Haha. Well, there were some major stuff-ups today. The news update wasn't cued properly and we were running overtime! It was so bad that they had to cut the weather halfway through. Well, I stuffed up at the part when she was cutting weather short, I didn't know I had to switch back to anchor graphics! So the erm, satellite image of Australia was there for one second before I realised what happened. Ugh. And Channel 31 stuffed up as well! They counted down the ad breaks too early and it cut into the news breaker. I bet Channel 31 audiences really got a bad news program today. Hahaha. But I thought the crew worked really well today (: Everyone knew what they were doing and did it well! Bleh technology. They always die at the wrong times. I hope next Friday will be much better. Why didn't I go to RMIT? Hahaha.
Went to watch Charlyn's Chinese Theatre performance after that! The storylines were all really good! But some of them were just really draggy. Not the storylines, but the way they presented it. Was supposed to end at nine but it ended at a bit after ten. Thanks so Shi Yang who drove me home (: And a great performance from Charlyn who acted as a child who kept on crying. Heh. Cos she's so small. But it was really good overall (:
I'm starting to feel bogged down. Probably the whole of Swot Vac will be a crazy period for me. I hope I survive the storm.
Interviews, interviews and more interviews. Note: I'm not being interviewed. I'm the one interviewing people. Haha. Anyway, today was quite productive. I realised that people are reacting to this at two extremes. One, they either find you irritating and getting on their nerves because of your persistence or two, they are so nice till you'll feel bad if you don't go back and buy something from them.
Pros and cons in both situations. But I spent a large part of my afternoon sitting in a cafe gulping sipping my coffee and waiting for time to pass while doing the sudoku in today's paper and trying in vain to revise my Intro Econometrics lecture. Well, I was supposed to interview Ying Thai2 which told me to come back at 1730 as the boss was at the market. Unfortunately, it was only 1550 or so. What am I supposed to do for that long? I'm not going to walk all the way home and come out after that. So I decided to interview a non-Asian cafe which was nestled right in the middle of the row of Asian restaurants. (Oh, I'm doing my feature on Asian restaurants on Lygon Street which is famous for their Italian restaurants. So I'm finding out why Asian restaurants actually open there). Anyway, since she was nice and answered some of my questions, I decided to have my coffee there. So there I sat and waited. And waited, and waited. Finally, time's up and I walked towards Ying Thai. Apparently the boss wasn't there yet. So I sat down and waited AGAIN. Then they were nice enough to give me a complimentary glass of ice coffee. Kudos to them, but time is precious! Haha. Then after waiting for fifteen minutes, they said the boss is busy and asked me to come back tomorrow! UGH. I have decided that tomorrow will be the third and last time I'm going there, for the interview at least. So annoying.
Then I decided to go back to the Indian restaurant cos the guy asked me to come back at 1800. Well, the person who was to speak to me wasn't there and I thought the whole thing that happened at Ying Thai will repeat itself. But he said that I could interview him instead, and I was definitely relieved.
After that, I knew I needed a Chinese restaurant somehow so I headed a few doors down to this newly opened Chinese restaurant. Never been there before, but the interior was shockingly amazing! I didn't feel like I was in Melbourne at all! Anyway, the manager was superbly nice as well. Thank goodness! The only boo-boo about it was that he insisted that since I knew how to speak Mandarin, he'll speak in Mandarin. And I was having sooooo much trouble! Firstly, my questions that I prepared were in English. Secondly, when was the last time I actually spoke the language proper? Thirdly, translating the questions wasn't exactly that easy. Fourthly, it was so embarrassing when he had to rephrase some of the questions cos my Mandarin was just all over the place. Sigh. But he was nice! The nicest non-friend interviewee I had so far! Haha. I'd definitely have to go back cos I'll feel guilty if I don't. Haha. And I nearly died cos some of the dishes are amazingly pieces of art! Really! They look too nice to be eaten. The chef cooked for the ex-US president and the Japanese President previously, apparently. Check out the pictures on their website. The layout isn't very pro, I must agree but the pictures speak a thousand words.
The other day I went to interview a new restaurant and the Malay lady is actually from Singapore! And she gave me a free drink after that cos she said I missed Singapore and the drink that she's selling is imported from Singapore. *feels guilty again* Why are there so many nice people out there that I have to fork out more money to spend in their restaurants so that I don't feel guilty? Rarr. Anyhoo, I got four interviews so far! I'm just kind of reluctant to start my story yet cos there's no inspiration I think.
Oh, and Yingwan cooked fried rice! Yay! (: Yummy. And I'm fully awake. Thanks to the two doses of coffee I had just now. I wasn't planning to stay up tonight.
I'm like ultimate slacking. Haha. This week went by in a whoosh that I can't even remember half of what happened. Sigh. Seriously, I don't know if I'll miss uni after I graduate. I'm afraid I will. I used to hate going to school during my secondary days but now I'm missing it badly. How I wish I'd done so many things differently then. But on the other hand, maybe I'd just repeat everything all over again. Haha. Oh well.
It was good that the feature article was due yesterday (: At least it's over and done with. Woohoo. Look forward to the next one which is 1500 words =S I have no ideas, really. My brain is dried up. Melbourne is not a good place for ideas, perhaps only for me. Haha. I think I would have more things to write about if I'm back in Singapore. Foreign land, what more can I expect. I'm just looking forward to the rest of the days till exams are over then I can truly recharge in the warm sunshine (:
Oh yea, current affairs test is finally OVER! And my highest mark is 5/10? Haha. Yay, I don't have to read Australian news everyday anymore. I'd rather listen to the news or read the online version. Sometimes I have the urge to read The Straits Times and I go to the website even though I jolly well know a username and password is needed. But somehow I feel comforted just by looking at the major headlines without reading the article. Sigh. Am I weird? Lol.
The assignment pile is decreasing! Which I'm glad, of course. One more for Intro Econometrics, two more for Journalism and one more for Inventing Asian Traditions! I just need the motivation for the last league of the race. But I don't want to get exhausted before the actual marathon which is the exams. I'm just hoping that I won't fail this semester or something =(
Anyway, Daddy wants me to work when I get back. Or try to work. A bit short in my opinion, my holidays are only a month. Who will want to employ me. Hmm, shall see how it goes.
And I really need to open my eyes when I drive! Yesterday wasn't too bad cos I missed only one stop sign. Haha. Used to be more. But it was bad enough =X Oh and I drove on the freeway last week! It was crazy, I nearly died. I was driving at like 97km/h and he said I was too slow. Yeah, all cars drive at 100 and above on the freeway. So he made me press the accelerator more. Ugh. Thank God I didn't die. But it was a cool experience (: Went all the way to 5th gear! Woohoo! I don't think I'd ever get to drive that fast on Singapore roads. Lol.
Okay I shall stop for now. I'm blogging cos I have nothing to do. Lol. And my brain is getting lazy to think of things to blog. Till another time.
I love Wednesdays! Nah, not because there's micro lecture but because there's Writing Journalism tutorial! Haha. Nah, not because of the tutor either (Charlyn thinks he's cute, but I strongly disagree) but because of our super cool table gang! Audrey, Charlyn and Alex! Haha. These people are the ones that I'm always looking forward to Journalism tutorial. They really make my day (: I love Wednesdays! Woohoo!
That aside, I cut my finger =( Quite a deep cut, according to ex-St. John's girl, Yingwan. Haha. But thanks to the housemate Miss Yap Yingwan for cooking and washing up (: I would have died of agony or something. Haha. It has a hole in it now but not as bad as I thought it would be. My nose incident was wayyyy worse. Lol.
Anyhoo, more editing to my feature story. And good news! I un-addicted myself from Big Brother! Whee! No more wasting so much time to watch that. Hurhur. Okay back to work again. This really reminds me the song in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs called "Heigh-Ho":
We dig dig dig dig dig dig dig in our mine the whole day through
To dig dig dig dig dig dig dig is what we really like to do
It ain't no trick to get rich quick
If you dig dig dig with a shovel or a pick
In a mine! In a mine! In a mine! In a mine!
Where a million diamonds shine!
We dig dig dig dig dig dig dig from early morn till night
We dig dig dig dig dig dig dig up everything in sight
We dig up diamonds by the score
A thousand rubies, sometimes more
But we don't know what we dig 'em for
We dig dig dig a-dig dig
Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho
Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho
Heigh-ho
Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho
It's home from work we go
Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho
Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho
Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho
Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho
Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho
Heigh-ho hum
Hurhur.
Been bogged down with assignments lately and that explains not blogging for one week. Haha. I don't even want to think of how many assignments I'm left with. I'd be happy if I can end this week handing up all my assignments.
Anyway, that aside, it was Singapore Student's Society's AGM today. As usual, Serene was there to calm my nerves. Haha. Thank you Serene! I love you! I have no idea how many times I've knocked on her door or invaded her apartment to borrow this and that and desperately ask for her help. And she's always so patient! She's like my mentor lah! I'll miss her terribly when I come back next semester =( But I'm sure she'll do really well in the working world back in Singapore after enduring people like me. Haha! (:
But thanks to those who voted for me (: I was super scared for one, and I think I appeared scared too? Haha. Oh well, it's over and I'm happy. I hate public speaking.
Its getting late and I'm not done with my feature article yet! Ugh. I'm not sure if I'm even doing it correctly. This shall be a short entry then. Need to get back to workworkwork. I can't wait to celebrate after I hand this in! Haha. But there's an even longer one coming up =( SIGH.
IHATEMYEXAMDATES! Ugh. My exams fall on the 6th and 20th of June. How nice. 14 days apart! Which means I can't go back earlier =( Thank goodness I didn't book an earlier flight or something. So 22nd of June it is. I can't wait! I seriously expected them to end mid-June or so. I shan't have any expectations next time or else I'll be disappointed and irritated again. Haha.
Two assignments due this week, on Thursday and Friday. I still can't decide what to do for my feature article which is due next Friday! I hate coming up with realistic ideas and writing factual stuff. Maybe I should have done creative writing instead. No matter how much I crap, there's still something to hand up. But for journalism, no way can I cook up some spicy interview which didn't even take place. Sigh.
I'm jealous that everyone back home had a Labour Day holiday today while I dragged my body to school. The weather was as crazy as ever. Hot cold hot cold hot cold. I wanted to kill myself. Not good that my class was like out of campus and I had to brisk walk 15 minutes with cold wind slapping against my front and back (depending on the direction it blew). Now you know why I hate winter. I can't wait to get back to the warm Singapore sunshine (: Rain or shine, I'd still rather be in Singapore. Haha.
One month and twenty two more days. I need a time machine.
Thank God I got back my thumbdrive! (: I left it at the computer lab again and walked away. But a different computer lab this time and yes, Commerce people are so much more honest than Trinity ones. Haha. Oops. Rushed all the way there and reached a few minutes before the lab opened. I was super duper nervous cos I had only one copy of my assignment in that thumbdrive and I don't want to do it all over again! Anyway, the guy took quite a while to open the lab and the counter at the front to so-called claim your stuff.
"What colour is your thumbdrive?"
"Silver."
He pulled out box containing like numerous lost items. He took out silver one.
"Is it this one?"
"No."
"How about this?"
"No."
And it went on for like another three more times or so. I was losing hope after every silver one he pulled out. Then there was a long pause. He was rummaging through the box as if there weren't any silver ones left.
"Ah, how about this one?"
I was already dazed by that time. It took a while for me to recognise it. Haha.
"Yes! Yes! It's that one!"
He asked me to identify some files and I got it back (: Praise God.
On the way back I was so tempted to eat something from Baker's Delight but I had only like 70cents on me and that can't buy you anything much. I also forgot to transfer money from my other account so I couldn't use the ATM either. Haha. So I thought to myself that if I walked past and see the scrumptious, yummylicious Butter Croissants staring back at me, I'm going to feel sad. Haha. Okay, I know it's random but it was just something that came to mind. But when I walked past and looked in, they didn't have any Croissants on the display shelf! Hehe! I was HAPPY! Then I reached home and gobbled down three pieces of bread with tuna. Haha. Maybe I should go to BreadTop (it's an imitation of BreadTalk) soon. I want to eat their Taro Buns. I'm always on a bread frenzy, I realised.
Had dinner with Huiwen and Charlyn in the evening! It was great catching up and knowing more about one another! Haha. Kudos to Huiwen for organising it. We were like talking about food and cooking most of the time. Haha. I'm so jealous of Huiwen! She cooks so well! Not because I want to learn to cook that well but because I want to eat good food. Haha. Dear me. Now you know why I'm getting fatter and fatter everyday. I'm always thinking about food. Food over assignments, food over homework, food over reading newspapers but it's still TV over food! Haha. But now its TV with food! Sorry, I'm rambling.
Then after that we went to disturb Yun and Barb. Hurhur. And that Charlyn Ng...I have nothing to say about her. Haha. Haiyoh. I kind of walked/ran home after that. It wasn't as cold as I expected and it was a good night to walk home (:
Exam timetable is coming out on Tuesday! I can't wait I can't wait! I want to change my flight! I'm not going to tolerate if my exam falls on the first day and the other on the last day. I'll just kill myself.
Shaun's gay partner is having a mishap! Shaun is off to save him. Hahaha.
Thanks to Yitian and her Mummy I got my tape recorder plus a whole container of pineapple tarts! (: So much for eating healthily. I thought finishing my packet of biscuits meant that I could finally stop my snack cravings but noooo, the pineapple tarts had to arrive. Anyhow, I'm still happy cos it's yummylicious! It was worth the effort dragging it around class the whole day (it was kind of heavy actually). So more snacks for the-already-too-fat-Dawn and the-too-skinny-Yingwan. Haha.
Finally! Hh got his braces today. Haha. I shan't put his photo here to embarrass him. Lol. It really reminded me of my braces days which lasted nearly the whole of secondary school. Bleh. But it did pay off (: I kind of miss them actually! My little metalandrubber friends! Though they destroyed a whole lot of my toothbrushes. Haha. Oh yes, and credit still must go to Dr Lee! He's the bestest best dentist in the whole wide world! You can ask Hh to vouch for that. Dr Lee's the reason why I love going to the dentist! Hahaha.
Ugh. My internet is getting irritating again. I keep getting disconnected (even while I'm typing this super short entry). Sigh. Maybe someone is telling me that I shouldn't have internet cos it's too much of a distraction and that I neglect my work for it. Sigh.
Okay off to bed for now. A rather interesting day. Interesting days are days when I go for consultation. Haha. He was so scared when he went overtime and I bet it was not because he had something else to attend to but rather they're not paying him for the extra time he sat in the consultation room. HAHAHA. I know I'm mean, but I think it's true. They'll never beat secondary school teachers who stayed back for us even though they didn't have to.
Finally finished a hefty sum of readings this week! Forty-four pages altogether for just that one subject =/ And sadly, it was on the history of Malaysia. Haha. No offence though, but we kind of got an insight during social studies already. The first two readings about Orang Aslis who are the indigeneous people of Malaysia went okay, but the third reading about Borneo and Punans made me sick. Why would I want to know about Punans, farmers and whether they wanted to grow rice or sago? Neither do I want to know if they are subsistence farmers or cash crop growers or how they grew those things. Like huh. No link. But I'm glad I ploughed through it skipping a few lines here and there cos I just couldn't take the endless number of pages that were waiting for me =P
And Charlyn passed me a Hong Kong show VCD yesterday! It's called "Dicey Business" or ÍõÕß·çÔÆ in Chinese. There's Xuan Xuan and Ou Yang Zhen Hua! But despite all the temptations and cravings, I haven't touched it YET. Aren't you proud of me? Haha. Maybe if I do start watching I really have to restrict myself. I can't afford watching and completing two assignments at the same time though the latter is something which I hate doing.
Oh yes, I'm so jealous. They might be going to watch Phantom of the Opera the musical! They meaning The Dad, The Mum, The Sister and The Brother. That's so unfair. I hope I'll be able to catch it here though (: Now we (Charlyn, Wen Loong and probably En) are trying to get tickets for Miss Saigon! Kill me cos I've already watched it. It was my birthday present in sec one or two. But I want to watch it AGAIN! Hehe. I know I'm good at wasting money.
Daddy was so funny last night! He sounded so excited when he called me. He told me that banana skins will kill warts. Okay, he has been on a wart cure frenzy since forever cos he's trying to get rid of his. Anyway, I have a tiny one on my hand. And he asked me to put a piece of banana skin on it for a while and see if it works! Haha. So funny. And he said that the banana skin stuck to his arm like a plaster. Lol. Okay, so I shall wake up early to try tomorrow since I only eat bananas in the morning. It's a sin to have them at night. Haha.
Wednesday is Anzac Day which means... NO SCHOOL! Hooray! Okay, nothing to be too happy about though cos holidays here means it's going to be real boring. I have no idea why they make a big deal out of this day anyway. Imagine a whole parade of soldiers marching through Orchard Road on Total Defence Day. I'll understand Anzac Day if that happens, which I doubt it ever will.
I hope we can get tickets for Miss Saigon on Tuesday night *crosses fingers* haha. I need to stop pigging out on biscuits.
Dawn is happy (: The week had started off really badly but one happy thing usually offsets all the bad things that happened. That's how important happy things are (: Smiling is good too. And of course, Laughter. Laughing with good company.(: Think happy thoughts! Smile while walking to school.
missing you
The holidays are drawing to an end. The past week wasn't that bad at all. It was great catching up with people I haven't seen in a while and making new friends at the same time (: It's amazing how everyone is created so different and unique in their own little ways and all I had to do was to embrace this uniqueness and give thanks.
Well, going out always has a correlation with spending money. You wouldn't want to know how much I've spent so far, especially on food alone. Why am I always eating, eating and eating?! But I get hungry when I'm not doing anything and that's like most of the time. Haha.
I'm finishing my article soon (: Praying that I will do okay for my first article that's going to be returned to us on Monday! Ugh. Nerve-wrecking. Trying to choing through my readings as well so that I don't have to do much next week. I seriously need to change my body clock back and sleep early! I still can't decide if I'm a morning person or an owl.
Anyway, I'm starting to hate interviews. Rarr. I'd rather people interview me instead. Borders was the worst lot of all. I went down to the store asking for an interview and they declined saying that I had to call the head office. And when I called the head office, they said to email their marketing manager or something. When I emailed her, she said she can't disclose anything at this stage! Like what on earth! They could have just told me directly or something. Oh well, so I got nothing out of all the trouble. But the interview with Readings went okay and the one with Andrew's Books went not bad though he was a bit reluctant to speak.
Maybe I'm just not cut out to do this subject. Hurhur. I'm bad at interpersonal relationships and I suddenly get a mental block when I talk to the person on the other end of the phone. Help. I have 3 more interview assignments to do. That's like around NINE more interviews on average. Kill me. And not forgetting the third year subject next year =/
Now one of the things which I do to escape from this turmoil is to go for my driving lessons. Heh. Though I'm parting with quite a huge sum of money, but it's worth it. A hundred times better than studying. Haha. Okay, kill me, someone. Anyway I also finished the VCDs that day. Took six days! My eyes nearly rolled out after that. Haha. I know I took quite long but I usually watch only at night, which explains the eyes rolling and why I took so long. But the show was not bad (:
I don't want to go back to school :( I'm just looking forward to June. It seems near but it feels far. Time here passes so slowly. I hate looking at my watch.

(: the sour grape and our sour apples which turned sweet in the end!
Yayeasterbreak! (: Finally a break from school but there's still no escaping from assignments. JIAYUN WENT BACK TO SINGAPORE YESTERDAY! AHH! I'm so so so jealous! Haha. The Angry Sour Grape's message to Jiayun:
And Yun's scary Winnie the Pooh which can "sing" cos it's a speaker. Hurhur.
Had great fun with the girls yesterday (: One of the best days yet this year in Melbourne! (I know my life is so mundane. Haha.) And that Jiayun lent me a Korean drama to watch. Now I'm addicted. Help. It's called Sassy Girl, Chun-Hyang or Äè°É ÃáÇâ in Korean. I need to be watching like crazy if not I won't be able to finish it before school starts plus hand in all my assignments. And there are more VCDs that I are queuing up waiting for me! =( Kill me someone. Haha.
Anyway, went for lunch with Yun and Charlyn yesterday. That Yun was so blur la. She ordered the Marinara Pizza and she forgot that she was allergic to prawns! So she had to settle for the salad and she's already so skinny! And guess who had to finish the pizza. A LARGE pizza I mind you. Then Yun said she had a free Trampoline ice cream thing and so we walked to the city. But the shop was closed =( Okay, we half expected it. Who opens on public holidays here except a few restaurants along Lygon Street. So we walked back to Charlyn's place and watched her "Yi Fu Zhi Ming" video that she did with En. Crapped a bit then walked back to Yun's place. Haha. I think we spent half the time walking to and fro. Then sat down on Yun's ultra comfy bed and crapped more.
Then Barbara came back and E-Lin, Edwin and Riian came over. Barb made her apple tart thing! Yummm..
Then pictures time! Haha. Charlyn and I were playing with the colour accent thing on my camera. It was cool but the colours turned out a bit weird on some. Hehe.
Without colour accent.
Failed colour accent cos Yun's jacket was too dark.
Successful colour accent! But our lips turned out erm...
Nice picture! Cos I took it =P
When it was time for Yun to go, we all headed downstairs. Too bad the car can only fit that many people. So Charlyn, Barb and I stayed behind. It was freezing I tell you! A quick group hug and when the car drove away, we ran like crazy all the way back into the lobby area. Haha. I think people thought we were nuts or something. End of the exciting episode. Yun will be missed! :(
Baking session soon! I hope! Waiting for Charlyn and Barb. Yay, eventful break so far! (:
